Night lighting is not an excuse to place more lanterns around the buffet. It is a safety system that should disappear into the architecture. On this vessel, it largely does.

The executive suite is well proportioned, the VIP Executive Lounge is genuinely useful for late work, and the logistics from Yichang Maoping Port are smooth when booked properly. If I had one critique, it is that the light near the mid-ship watertight door is so subtle that I had to pause and check whether the door was locked. A small blue lock-status indicator would remove that uncertainty. That is a minor point, but it is the kind of detail that separates a well-run cruise from a memorably excellent one.
